Jump Rope for Heart!
On Monday, February 8 9:30am to 3:30pm, Yoshikai Elementary students will jump rope to help the American Heart Association. Sponsor forms were sent home with students along with directions on how to make a donation on-line. Please visit www.americanheart.org/jump to log in and help your child create a donation page, send out emails to friends and family, and save lives in a fun, easy way!

Why Jump Rope for Heart?
- More than 9 million children are overweight and 36 percent get no exercise.
- Obesity among the nation’s youth has tripled in the past 15 years.

- For the first time in history, children’s life spans are predicted to be less than their parents because of inactivity and obesity-related illnesses.
